Dear Providence Village community and supporters,
After great personal discernment following a long and fulfilling career, I have made the decision to retire at the end of December 2026. I’m looking forward to spending more time with my family, particularly my grandchildren, and continuing my community involvement on a number of Boards and Foundations.
Serving as President & CEO of Providence Village has been the honour of my career. It is an exciting time to see the full potential of the Village coming to life with diverse partner organizations and construction projects underway. I am deeply grateful to have played a part in stewarding the remarkable legacy of the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul into the future, and to have helped bring their vision for Providence Village to life. It has been a true privilege to work alongside the Sisters, our incredible staff team, the Providence Village Board of Directors, our subtenants, and our community partners to advance the vision for the Village as a vibrant and growing nonprofit hub and community of care.
The Providence Village Board of Directors has begun the recruitment process for the Village’s next President & CEO. Work will continue as usual throughout this transition to advance the exciting progress underway. I will remain in my role as President & CEO until a new leader is in place, including beyond my official retirement date of December 31, 2026 as needed. We will keep working together to deliver on Providence Village’s mission, strategic priorities, and its continued growth and evolution.
I deeply believe in the mission and vision of Providence Village and in the unique model of collaboration, care, and community at its heart. I will always be a passionate champion of Providence Village and the entire community of people working together to make it a success. I will leave this role with enormous confidence in the Providence Village Board and staff team and what they will continue to accomplish. I look forward to watching the Village continue to grow, deepen its impact, and serve the community for years to come.
