Director of Facilities and Strategic Projects joins PVI

President & CEO of Providence Village Inc. (PVI), and Motherhouse Administrator for the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul, Laurie French is excited to welcome Steacy Oliver into a new role as Director of Facilities Management and Strategic Projects, effective December 12th. This newly created position will play a key role in helping ensure PVI and Motherhouse facilities and services serve the needs of the Sisters, staff, and future tenants well into the future. In addition, the Director of Facilities and Strategic Projects will be PVI’s capital projects lead at the site at 1200 Princess Street as well as future planning for the current space being occupied by Providence Manor.

Oliver has worked as a Planning Consultant contracted to support work at PVI and the Motherhouse since January 2022. “We are excited we were able to recruit Steacy full-time to our team,” French says. “We know she is committed to respecting the values and legacy of the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul as we advance the vision of PVI, while supporting that first and foremost, the Motherhouse is a home for the Sisters.”

Oliver is also looking forward to the role. “Joining the PVI team full time is a very exciting opportunity for me to have a greater impact on my community by helping to deliver on the vision of PVI and the Sisters of Providence. I have no doubt this new position will be both challenging and rewarding. I look forward to meeting those I haven’t yet met and to continuing to build relationships with those I have had the pleasure of working with already.”

Oliver has been a Senior Project Manager with Colliers Project Leaders. She is a Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional with 25 years’ experience.

Recruitment is underway for a Director of Human Resources, Labour Relations and Change Leadership.
