Director of Human Resources, Labour Relations and Change Management joins PVI and the Providence Motherhouse

President & CEO of Providence Village Inc. (PVI), and Motherhouse Administrator Laurie French is pleased to announce Colleen Hickey has accepted the new position of Director of Human Resources, Labour Relations and Change Management, effective January 16.
This role will be responsible for effective employee and labour relations services for the Motherhouse and PVI, leading staff recruitment, onboarding and orientation, collective bargaining, issue management, staff development and change leadership.
“Colleen’s arrival comes at an exciting time for the Motherhouse and PVI, as we continue to advance the vision of the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul,” notes Laurie. “Colleen will work closely with our existing team, ensuring employment standards and practices are not only in place, but are responsive to legislative and collective agreement provisions as the organization evolves.”
Colleen has 25 years of progressively responsible experience leading human resources within municipal government, including long-term care, as well as in home care and manufacturing. She has a proven record in labour relations, change management and leadership development.
