Providence Village Welcomes Independent Living Centre Kingston as New Partner and Subtenant

Kingston, ON, August 7, 2025Providence Village (“the Village”) is pleased to welcome Independent Living Centre Kingston (ILCK) as its newest partner and subtenant. As of August 1, ILCK has moved into a newly renovated space in the West Wing of Providence Motherhouse—joining a growing group of mission-aligned organizations delivering health, wellness, and social services at Providence Village.

Founded by people with disabilities in the late 1980s, ILCK is a leader in promoting the rights, dignity, and self-determination of people with disabilities. The organization offers free programs, resources, and skills-building support for people with disabilities, their families, and the broader community.

Providence Village is a charitable organization that brings together diverse health and wellness organizations in a welcoming, village-like setting at 1200 Princess Street in Kingston. ILCK is the latest organization to establish a presence in the West Wing of the Providence Motherhouse, joining fellow not-for-profit partners including H’art Centre for Smiles, Girls Inc., the Arthritis Society Canada’s Arthritis Rehabilitation and Education Program, and Bereaved Families of Ontario – Kingston Region.
