Kingston, ON, November 3, 2026 — Providence Village (“the Village”) is pleased to welcome Ryandale Transitional Housing (Ryandale) as the newest subtenant to join its nonprofit hub and community of care.
Ryandale, a Kingston-based nonprofit organization providing safe, supportive transitional housing for individuals experiencing homelessness, will relocate its administrative offices to space in the west wing of Providence Village in November 2026. The move marks an important milestone in Ryandale’s continued growth and brings another community-focused organization to the Village.
Over the past two years, Ryandale has expanded from three homes to five, growing its housing programs and team in response to the increasing need for supportive housing in Kingston. Its new space at Providence Village will serve as a central administrative hub, providing dedicated offices for its leadership and administrative team, along with meeting space and facilities for staff training, collaboration and professional development.
“Our growth over the past few years reflects both the increasing need for safe, supportive housing in our community and our commitment to meeting that need,” shared Paul Smith, Chair, Board of Directors, Ryandale Transitional Housing. “Moving our administrative offices to Providence Village gives our team the space to come together, strengthen our work, and build on the momentum we’ve created. We’re excited to be part of a community that brings organizations together around a shared commitment to improving lives.”
By establishing a central administrative hub, Ryandale will be better positioned to coordinate its growing operations, support its staff and plan for the future, while benefiting from opportunities to connect and collaborate with other nonprofit and community organizations at the Village.
“Ryandale is a wonderful addition to our growing community of care,” said Laurie French, President & CEO, Providence Village. “Supporting much-needed housing initiatives has always been part of the vision for Providence Village, and we’re delighted to welcome an organization doing such important work in our community. As we continue to bring together organizations that support the health, wellness and wellbeing of individuals and families, Ryandale’s presence further strengthens our shared commitment to responding to community needs.”
Ryandale joins a growing network of nonprofit and community organizations at Providence Village, working across a range of sectors to provide essential services, strengthen community connections and improve the lives of people in Kingston and the surrounding region.
